For large shipments that aren't time-sensitive, DDP sea or rail freight is the most cost-effective method. It may take longer, but the savings on bulk cargo are worth it, especially if you plan ahead.
Important Notes:
* During week-long Chinese holidays, Chinese Lunar New Year (usually in February) and Chinese National Day (1st October every year), services from certain suppliers and carriers may be affected, meaning that deliveries for order placed around these holidays may be delayed 2-4 days.
* Certain items are prohibited by some shipping carriers. If your order contains these items for the shipping carrier you selected, we will re-route your order via another carrier to ensure it arrives safely. This may require additional shipping time.
Am I responsible for paying customs fees?
Customs fees are placed on physical goods that are imported into a country from another country or territory. As a buyer, you are generally responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Most customs charges are due once the package arrives in the destination country. The cost of the charges is based on:
• The price and type of item
• The package weight and dimensions
• The origin country the package is being shipped from
• The taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country
Customs policies vary widely from country to country and are subject to change. Please understand that we do not have control over them and cannot predict what they might be. Instead, we would kindly ask you to contact your local customs office to obtain further information.
DDU vs DDP: What Is the Difference?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping and express shipping are two popular options for transporting goods from China to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.
Delivery duty paid (DDP) shipping is an international shipping method in which the seller assumes responsibility for transporting goods—including applicable customs duties, taxes, and risks. This offers buyers peace of mind, eliminating concerns about international shipping complexities and customs, but DDP shipments are more likely to be examined by customs, potentially leading to delays.
Express shipping (DDU) is a faster option. It is typically used for time-sensitive shipments or smaller packages. Express shipping services, such as UPS, DHL, and FedEx, offer reliable and expedited delivery, with door-to-door service, but the buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
APO/FPO and PO Boxes
Most Express Shipping couriers will not deliver to Post Office (PO, APO, FPO, DPO) boxes. For more efficient delivery of your order, we advise that you not use a Post Office box when placing orders. Doing so may delay your shipment.
How long does it take for my parcel to reach me?
The tracking of your parcel is online traceable. After your order is shipped out, a confirmation email with online tracking number will be sent to you. The tracking number will be valid for your check within 48 hours after you receive the email. (During Holiday Season, Orders will not be traceable when the parcels arrive in the destination country. It is because courier website will no longer update the information about shipping package. )
